Abigail Lopez Moreno age 61 and a resident of Porterville for 37 years passed away April 4, 2016 in Porterville. Abigail was born March 22, 1955 to Arnulfo and Gerturdis Lopez in the State of Guerrero, Mexico. Abigail enjoyed being a stay at home mother and she spoiled everyone with her exquisite preparation of a variety of traditional Mexican dishes. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and even helped take care of many other children over the years. Abigail was a very kind a loving person and was an active member of the Sierra Foothills Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving family includes her loving husband Angel Moreno of Porterville. 2 sons: Orlen Lopez and Mark Moreno and wife Erica Nunez all of Terra Bella. Daughter Brenda Lopez and husband Roberto of Terra Bella. 5 brothers: Salvador Lopez of Tulare, Faustino Lopez and Bartolo Lopez of Mexico and Febronio Lopez and Fermin Lopez of Los Angeles. 5 sisters: Mirta Rodriguez, Esperanza Lopez, Carmen Lopez and Lencha Lopez of Mexico along with Maria Lopez of Los Angeles. She also has 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday April 10th at Whitehurst-Peters-Loyd Chapel with a 10:00am Funeral Service Monday, April 11th, also at Whitehurst-Peters-Loyd Chapel.
