Juan Mosqueda Jr. age 52 and a resident of Porterville for over 50 years passed away on May 19, 2015 in Porterville. Juan was born in Yuba City, Marysville on September 29, 1963 to Juan and Juana Mosqueda. He first came to Porterville at the age of 2 and received his education through the Porterville School District. Juan worked as a Farm Laborer before moving on to becoming a Seasonal Firefighter with the US Forestry for 18 years. Juan enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as fishing, camping and watching his NFL. Juan was a big 49er fan. He was preceded in death by his Brother Enrique Mosqueda in 1983, Sister Lupe Bustos in 1984, Father Juan Mosqueda Sr., in 2003, Brother Tony Mosqueda in 2010. Surviving family includes his loving wife of 33 years Rachel Maryann Mosqueda. 7 Children: Marie Peyron, Guadalupe Mosqueda, Melissa Mosqueda, Juan Mosqueda III, Enrique Mosqueda, Joseph Mosqueda and Olga Mosqueda. Juan is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, his Mother Juana Bustos and his Step-father Manuel Bustos Sr. 6 Sisters: Lucy Martinez and husband Ramon of Visalia, Rosalinda Sanchez and husband Daniel of Visalia, Roseanna Leyva and husband Carlos of Porterville, Maria Mosqueda of Porterville, Irma Hernandez and husband Martin of Modesto and Sylvia Bustos of Woodville. 2 Brothers: Jose Bustos and wife Lisa of Greenfield and Manuel Bustos Jr. and wife Anna of Porterville.
