Manie Fay Wilson was born on March 25, 1927 to Lacey and Stella Olmsted in Cottondale, Alabama where she was raised. On November 4, 1945 she married her love James Wilson in Cottondale, Alabama. In 1951 they came and settled in California where they raised their family. Fay was a caring and nurturing woman as she was in the nursing field for over 30 years and retired from Villa Manor. She loved to play the piano and sing especially gospel music. She enjoyed being in a Bible Study. Fay's greatest joy and love in her life was her every growing family. She is preceded in death by her husband James, her son Lacey Wilson and daughter Sandra Dickson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons; Billy Wilson, Russell Wilson (Carol Ann), Chester Wilson (Deandra) of Porterville and Jim Wilson (Regina) of Texas, daughters; Lallage Lentzner of Porterville, Pamela May (Gary) of Iowa and Teresa Bales of Hemet. Also her brother Calvin McDaniel of Alabama, sister Shirley Oswald (Bob) of Kentucky and of course her legacy of 32 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. There will be a viewing for Fay on Monday August 19, 2013 from 2pm-8pm at Whitehurst-Peters-Loyd Chapel and a graveside service on Tuesday August 20, 2013 at 10am at Hillcrest Cemetery.
