Mary was born February 13, 1962 in Pecos, Texas to Manuel and Josefa Cordova. She passed away September 25, 2013 in Porterville, California.Mary was very passionate when it came to her family. She quickly stepped in when we lost our mother/grandmother, Josefa Cordova, in December 2012, and picked up where she left off. Everybody looked forward to "Menudo-Sunday at Mary's", where family and friends would get together and spend the the entire day watching whatever game was on television, or just sitting around the kitchen table with Mary, talking about anything and everything. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved each one of them in her own special way. Mary was a big Raiders and Yankees fan. Game days were very intense at Mary's House, but win or lose, she always had a smile on her face, mostly because she was amongst loved ones. Mary is survived by her three children, Adrian, Marco and Maria Ramos, her soul-mate of 23 years, Antonio Rocha, seven sisters, Gloria Zepeda, Alisia Fajardo, Mercedes Cordova, Susie Cordova, Maria Garfield and Rosa Cordova, four brothers, Hector, Carlos, Mario and Joe Cordova, ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Manuel Cordova, mother Josefa Cordova, brothers Eliacer Cordova and Manuel Cordova Jr, baby sister San Juanita Cordova, and niece Michelle Roman.Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 1st starting at 2 pm with Rosary beginning at 6 pm at Whitehurst-Peters-Loyd. Mass will be held at St. Annes Church on Wednesday, October 2nd at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetary.Losing Mary is like losing the main link in the chain that has been holding us together. Our loss is a huge one that will weigh heavily in our hearts. She will be greatly missed.
