A memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center for Mario S. Sanchez Jr., 65 who passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Porterville.\nMr. Sanchez was born in Arizona but lived most of his life in the Porterville area. He graduated from Monache High School, after graduation he served four years in the Military for the United States Marines Corps. He went to Porterville College, studied to become an electrician and worked in the construction field.\nMario enjoyed talking about God, quoting and memorizing scriptures, telling jokes, working in the yard, talking walks in the mountains where he collected items to create his art work made out of wood, metal, glass and rocks and loved his dog Little Mo.\nSurvivors include his wife of 35 years, Shirley Sanchez, four step children and ten step grandchildren, one brother Joel Sanchez and two sisters Maria Perez and Melva Sanchez, of Porterville.\nMario will be dearly missed, but he believed in the word of God, John 3:16 states, "For God loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life". This gives hope to all whom believe, thank you God for Mario's life he is now in your Heavenly Kingdom!
