Serina Ann Alviso was born and raised on the Tule River Indian Reservation. Serina was a true free spirit, and you could find her in the mountains most of the time and during the summer cooling off in the river. She loved her family and friends to no end, but there was no one she loved more than her nephew Tate and niece Hartlee Lynn. She loved life and had a one-of-a-kind personality, always spoke her mind and never let anyone go without. She was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, but if you cross paths with her or any of her family you better be ready to throw down.\n\nShe is survived by her parents Ronii Dee Santos and Frank Alviso, sisters Anndara Alviso, Franki Alviso, and Paula Lucero, grandfather Billy Alviso, grandmother Kathy Bennett(John) and aunts, uncles, and cousins.\n\nShe was greeted in heaven by her grandparents Thelma "Pona" Anderson, Mercy James and Ron Santos. Family and friends will meet at Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center on Thursday, February 2nd for viewing from 2pm-4pm then procession to Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church for Rosary at 6pm. Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 10am on Friday, February 3rd at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church then proceed to the Tule River Lower Cemetery for burial.
